The President of Ambercom, Inc., Tom Pike, is passionate about strategic planning and operations improvement. He wants people to walk away with a new view of business and of themselves.  Tom’s reputation comes at the culmination of over twenty-five years work developing an innovative perspective of systems, stressing that the individual, social, economical, and organizational aspects are more important than the technological ones. He is a thought-provoking and warm speaker with the ability to convey innovative ideas in a simple and direct way bringing both real content and humor to his audience. He possesses a blend of deep technology know-how with broad commercial experience that only a practitioner gains.

Tom Pike is a recognized authority on strategic planning, information systems and process improvement. He is the founder and President of a multi-disciplinary training, information products and advisory services firm.  He has been the senior information systems executive with several New York Stock Exchange listed companies, a financial executive, and is an experienced Registered Nurse. He has been an instructor at a number of leading colleges and universities. Tom has worldwide onsite experience conducting systems work not only in the United States but Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Puerto Rico, Spain, and the United Kingdom. He is experienced with both domestic and foreign acquisitions. Previously, he was an AT&T Information Systems Executive, and has served as an officer in the United States Navy.

Tom has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Georgia and graduated with honors from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida, a Certified Management Accountant, and Certified in Production and Inventory Management (awarded by APICS: The Association for Operations Management), and a Registered Nurse (licensed in Virginia).

Tom is the author of three books:  Information Renaissance – Value Multiplication With Business Information (Sherwood Publishing, 1993), Rethink, Retool, Results (Simon & Schuster, 1999), and Sickcall – Improving Health and Health Care (Books of Merit Publishing, 2010).
